Lone Survivor
Recently completed (12/09) first draft now under revision, earned a FTDB award from the RWA Mystery Suspense Chapter’s Lethal Ladies who critiqued the entire MS. This is my second completed manuscript, and the first with a plot. It’s your basic serial killer love story. Stay tuned to hear all about the adventures of Angie and Carlos as they solve crime and save lives.
Katrinka Tonka
I’m not sure exactly where Katrinka came from but she’s a pistol. Katrinka is a smart sassy sexy siren who takes off on an adventure with a PI Jack Cannaly. Little does she know what surprises Jack has in store for her.
She thinks she has everything under control including the man by her side but he has other plans and she’s squarely in the mix. Stay tuned to see where Katrinka takes us.
Maxine’s Ramble
Maxine Murphy a newspaperwoman from Maine who is tormented by her family. Her penchant for disaster haunts her until she takes a leap of faith and sets out to change her future.
Stowing away on a broken down RV Maxine gets a ride to Kansas with Jake Evans, a farmer who wasn’t just being neighborly when he agreed to help his friend Burt get to the funeral of an old navy buddy. He didn’t expect to rescue a beautiful crazy woman, but there you go. Life throws unexpected curves from time to time. Maxine was all that and more.
These two people must overcome Maxine’s calamaties and Jake’s doubts to build a sexy and loving relationship in the middle of a cold Kansas winter. Together they weather the icy winter storms, but one storm isn’t in the official forecast.
It is chaos the lovers face as all hell brakes loose. Max just begins to find a new life when her brother takes aim to inflict his revenge.
Now a measure of Maxine’s courage and Jake’s determination must see them through. Their combined commitment and belief in happy endings is shaken as they overcome this shot across their hearts and allow their love to prevail.
Invading Britain
This project is a travel book taken from the blog Invading-Britain.blogspot.com. After adding photographs from our trip and tweaking the text I published a PDF to Apple’s create a book thingy and it turned out fabulous. You can see a copy online. It’s huge, so if you choose to download it, you do so at your own risk.
It’s the funny story of how four intrepid Americans managed to invade Britain in the spring of 2007. What we found is that they’ll pretty much let you go anywhere you want as long as you grease the skids with a twenty pound note.
It was a fabulous trip. See the Scotland photo section for a peek.
